Physical Education at BMPRSS
Welcome to Physical Education with Mr. Forzaglia, Mrs. Venuto, and Mrs. Quinlan!
In Physical Education, our active bluebirds participate in a variety of engaging activities designed to help them grow physically, socially, and emotionally while fostering a love of movement. Lessons focus on building coordination, balance, strength, and endurance, as well as understanding key movement concepts, strategies, and game skills.
Throughout the year, students participate in activities that promote teamwork, communication, and cooperation. They learn how to work responsibly with others, demonstrate leadership, respect differences, and display good sportsmanship in both individual and group settings. These experiences help students strengthen character traits such as trust, perseverance, grit and problem-solving.
Physical Education also encourages students to recognize the personal value, and joy that comes from being active. Students begin to see how physical activity can be part of a healthy, balanced, and rewarding life. They are also introduced to opportunities for movement, wellness, and fitness within their community and beyond.
Our goal is to help every child build the skills, confidence, and mindset to lead an active, healthy lifestyle, while discovering that movement can be both fun and meaningful in everyday life.
