After School Activities

When students are dismissed from school at 3:10 pm, students have some options to participate in after school activities. (Please note: Our school monitors are in the building while the children are in the building so the same visitor policies still apply.)

 

The Blind Brook PTA collaborates with the Your After School Program to run a program at our school for our students from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm.  There is a Fall Session, Winter Session, and Spring Session.  Information is sent to families via email.  (Please note: If you need additional childcare coverage after 4;15 pm, there is an opportunity for your child to attend the Rye Brook Recreation Afterschool Program. Please contact Rocky Furano at rfurano@ryebrookny.gov or 914-438-2087 for more information.)

 

Rye Brook Recreation has established their own after school program which is held each day at the BMP Ridge Street School from 3:10 pm - 6:30 pm, allowing the children to have a snack, complete a little homework, and engage in some activities.  If you are interested in having your child join the program for one day, two days, or even the whole week please contact Rocky Furano at rfurano@ryebrookny.gov or 914-438-2087. (Please note: There is an opportunity for your child to attend the PTA Afterschool Program from 3:15 pm - 4:15 pm and then be dismissed to the Rye Brook Recreation After School Program for additional child care coverage.  This would have to be coordinated with Rye Brook Recreation.  Please contact Rocky Furano at rfurano@ryebrookny.gov or 914-438-2087 for more information.
